Dave Howard has been in the business for over 25 years with SunTrust Bank/SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, Fleet National Bank, Laureate Capital and the Ryan Mortgage Company. He also served as a Senior Asset Manager with the Federal Asset Disposition Association managing the assets and REO property of failed savings and loans including the notorious Vernon Savings and Loan in Dallas, Texas. He has been a direct lender with SunTrust Bank and has placed loans with over 30 insurance companies, banks and financial institutions. Mr. Howard was educated at The Ohio State University and The University of Texas at Arlington. Additionally he has taken course work through the Appraisal Institute and has written and reviewed appraisals for numerous institutions including Aetna and Nationwide Life. He is a licensed real estate broker in the Commonwealth of Virginia and recently served on the Board of Directors of the Greater Richmond Association of Commercial Real Estate and was President in 2006.
